Introducing the New Snow Culottes!!!

We have been busily getting ready for this coming winter. We have purchased boots, jackets, and sleds and still need more items of clothing (ie: gloves, scarves, and boots for Josh and I). We are excited to get out in the snow and have fun! We have been trying to find some sort of "winter" gear that our girls can wear yet still be Biblically modest. After some pointers on what our girls snow gear must have to keep them warm, Kami invented the "Snow Culottes"! I think they look great and will be a testimony to the world that a person does not have to sacrifice Biblical standards in order to have fun! I hope you enjoy the pictures below!

(There is a sports zipper along the side that can be zipped up or all the way down to help aid in sledding, snow mobiling, etc. yet still be modest.)

(Kami made a full suit that is double insulated using "quilted flannel-backed nylon". It is water resistant as well. There is a zipper on the back to get in and out of the suit. At another missionary's suggestion, the one piece suit keeps snow from getting in at the waistline.)

(Here is the suit, it is unzipped on the sides thus the reason for it sticking out at the sides.)

(Here you can see that the sides are unzipped. At another suggestion by a missionary friend of ours, the "bloomer" portion of the culottes comes over the boot to keep snow from getting into the boots.)
Brenna just loves her new "Snow Culottes" and cannot wait to get out into the snow to throw snowballs, build forts, and make snow angels. I am so thankful for a Godly wife who is so creative and believes Philippians 4:13 - "I can do all things through Christ which strentheneth me. "
