Silas is doing great at crawling, pulling himself up, and begging for food like a puppy! He doesn't seem to be phased by his falls, tumbles, or head bumps. If you look closely here above his right eye, you can see his first black-eye.....way to go Silas! He especially loves climbing up to a basket that Kami keeps all of her music in. He pulls himself up and reaches in and takes out a sheet of music.....then he puts it in his mouth and chews........his one tooth works great!

He is definitely growing up fast....he out grew his car-seat carrier and we bought him this used car seat at a flea market last Saturday. We love flea markets! He loves his new seat. He can actually face frontwards and just laughs and kicks when you put him in his new seat!

Here you can see that Beth sneezed into her hands........okay, she didn't sneeze...but we sure had fun on our family night making home-made slime! It is very easy to make and is fun to play with!

Kami is out right now buying the meat groceries for next week. On Thursdays, we have found that our local grocery store, Maxi, puts out a lot of marked down meats (50% off !). Kami goes and buys what meats we need or want for the next week and we save alot of money this way. For example, we can get whole pork roasts for for $4, a family pack of grilling steaks for $5, family pack of drum sticks for $4, packs of scallops for 75 cents, and packs of beef stew meat for $1. Kami is an excellent shopper and saves us a lot of money at the deals she finds. Food here is expensive and we ask the Lord to make our food budget stretch and He always answers our prayers!!! In fact, she just got home and here is some of the deals she just found!

We are looking forward to this coming Sunday. We have been invited to Eglise Baptiste de Thetford Mines with Pastor Begin. We will present our ministry (via interpreter) and then I will preach the Sunday morning service. We are also scheduled for two mission's conferences here in Canada in October. Our goal is to be at 100% of our needed support by the end of language school!
Please be in prayer for my seasonal allergies as well, Fall seem to be my toughest time. Yesterday was especially hard and since we have no air conditioning in our house, our windows must stay open all the time...it has been very warm this past week. Thus, my allergies seem to be worse breathing in all of whatever is in the outside air. Thank you to all of you who pray for us on a regular basis!
