Last night, I took out Joshua, Elisabeth, Brenna and my brother Marc to a baseball game. I wanted some father/kids time and some time with my brother as well. So I decided to take them to a Miracles baseball game...sadly, I forgot the camera.
The Miracles are our hometown minor league team. However, this just wasn't any old baseball game. This was Filler-Up Friday! You could purchase tickets with an All-You-Can-Eat wristband! Who doesn't love sporting event foods?!
We had a great time and laughed the night away. The five of us took full advantage of the all-you-can-eat wristbands as well. Our grand totals for the five of us for the night was :
1 Popcorn
1 Peanuts
1 Chips
4 Hotdogs
19 Pepsi's
21 Hamburgers
(just to let mommy know that we missed her, we bought her a bag of her favorite ballpark snack....Cotton Candy!)
We praise the Lord for a great family evening together!

Micah Reuben Gimenez
I know it has been two weeks since I last posted but the pictures below will explain everything :
Are we just getting old, so that a newborn wears us out this much?...or is it that for the first week Micah mixed up his days and nights? :o)
Micah is officially two weeks old today! He is doing better at sleeping more in the very early morning hours, and for this we are excited. He also is taking some great naps during the day and this also lets mommy get some extra rest as well.
Micah officially didn't get a name until 3 days after he was born. We thought we had a name picked out but Joshua was the one who suggested the name "Micah". His middle name, Reuben, is after his great-grandfather (Kami's dad's father) Reuben Willoughby.
Micah is healthy and for this we praise the Lord. We are still waiting for the birth certificate and the social security number so that we can begin the process of filing for his passport. While here in Florida, we have been able to have some orthodontists appointments for Beth and doctor's appointments for all of the kids. We are also going to schedule appointments to renew Joshua's and Brenna's U.S. passports as well, for their's will expire in February 2013. If we renew them now, we won't have to travel back to the U.S. before next February to renew them.
We praise the Lord for this time here with family, they have been such a blessing to us. Kami and I have realized that grandkids sure do run the households of our parents! We will keep you updated and we thank each of you for your continued prayers!

It's a boy!
We would like to introduce you to......ok, we don't have a name picked out yet...but it's a boy!
He was born today April 11, 9.3lbs, 21 inches long! The midwife made it here just 11 minutes before the baby was born! (boy that was close!) Mommy and baby are doing great!

Hoping to announce a baby....
Well, I was hoping that my next post would be the announcement of a baby but we are still waiting.
Elisabeth, Brenna and myself all arrived safely in Ft. Myers last Tuesday, April 3rd. It was a long day of traveling but we praise the Lord for safety all along the way. One of the longest parts of the day was getting through Immigration & Customs in Miami. It took over 2 hours after we landed to finally get out of the airport and headed to Ft. Myers!
It was great to be all together again as a family. We have been able to accomplish some things while here, like filing our taxes, getting some doctor's visits out of the way, getting glasses ordered, and restocking on clothes for our ever-growing children! There are still more doctor's visits and orthodontists appointments on the calendar.
Hopefully, I will be able to post the pics and news of the newest Gimenez baby really soon. Thank you all for praying!

Gettin' ready to go...
We had good services today. This was Bruno's 3rd service in a row and our 3 faithful ladies were in their places. Bruno said to thank everyone in the U.S. who has been praying for him to get saved! So here is a big "Thank you!" from him!
We started a review last Sunday that we finished today. It was a review of all of the subjects and questions that we have answered from the Bible for the past 10 months. Today we finished with the subject of Biblical Prayer and A True Church. We told everyone that this will be our last service for several weeks until our return back to St. Barthelemy.
I have not been too thrilled with the idea of having to leave the ministry here. However, I once heard a veteran missionary say that when God is bringing you back to the U.S. for furlough or other reasons, at first you will be reluctant and not want to go, but as the time draws near to leave, God will give you grace and you will be excited to come back. Then, you will develop a longing and excitement to get back "home" when God is ready to have you back on your mission field.
I do have to say that for the past couple of days, it has been easier for me to think of leaving here and I am getting excited for the opportunity to see friends, family, kiss my wife, and the arrival of the newest member of our family. (Not to mention that some good chinese food and BBQ really sound good!)
Kami is doing great and the midwife said that the baby could come now or in a couple of weeks. So hopefully the baby will arrive just a couple of days after the girls and I arrive in Florida. This will let us to be able to get the necessary paperwork started to be able to travel back. Our hope is that Kami and the baby will not have to wait too long in getting the passport for the baby so they can get back as soon as possible.
So, my next post will be written from Florida with hopefully pics of the new baby. We leave this Tuesday and our family will be "whole" again by 10 PM on Tuesday!
