Josh built a boat from a kit that the kind folks of Liberty Baptist Church in Stockbridge, Georgia gave to him. The boat turned out great! He named it "Sheffy" after one of his favorite movies. After we were done we sailed "Sheffy" for a bit. We had a great family day!Welcome to our life as missionaries! We are saved, born-again Christians and not ashamed of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ! We hope that a glimpse into our lives will make you laugh, sometimes cry, and encourage you in the Lord! Our goal is to serve the Lord no matter where He takes us and to have fun while we work in the ministry!

Sheffy the Boat

Today we took the kids letterboxing. This is one of our favorite pastimes when we have a chance to go. For those of you who don't know what it is....You go online and find where someone has placed a letter box in your area. It's like a scavenger hunt. There are clues to lead you to the box. Usually it's at a park, so that makes it even more fun! When you find the box you put a stamp in your book, and in their book. Anyway, we love going! We found three today in McDonough, Georgia. Patrick kept saying, "This looks like snake heaven!" When we were all do

Our Poor Saturn
I hope you're enjoying this day! This is a picture of our latest excitement. While driving to a meeting in Georgia Patrick heard a pop, then saw a man next to us pointing to our car. Patrick tried to pull over as quick as possible to figure out what had happened. (We were on I-75) Our poor Saturn that we tow had blown a tire and made a huge mess on the front end of our car. Yuk! Patrick tied the car back together with fishing line and wire and changed the tire. We have the tire fixed! We look back on this situation and think....we had a 2 hour drive ahead of us. The thought crossed our mind for me to just drive the car and follow the motorhome. I could have been driving when this happened! Or it could have happened two hours early while we were all driving the car! The Lord is so good and His timing is so perfect!Canaan Jubilee
