Here are a couple of quick updates about our family:
Brenna & Elisabeth have been working at their school work and trying to fit in as much as they can. Elisabeth is in 11th grade and Brenna in 10th. Time sure does fly by and it is hard to believe that these two are in high school!
Joshua is finishing his mid-term exams this week. He has all straight-A's thus far in College and is breezing through his exams. He scored a 97% on his English exam yesterday! He started training as a Door-to-Door salesman last week and officially started working this week. He is working for a large Solar Energy Company and gets an hourly part-time wage plus commissions. We'll see how it works out!
Silas is in K-5 and Kami teaches his class. She is not able to teach every day because some days she is too exhausted & too much in pain to do it. But Silas is so far advanced, he is already working on material 6 months ahead of schedule! Callie and Micah love sitting in on Silas' class and learning as well!
Kami had a doctor's appointment yesterday and the tumor in her foot has come back. The doctor is concerned that it came back so quickly after she received an injection treatment 6 months ago to shrink the tumor/cyst. He scheduled Kami for an MRI next Wednesday. After this, he wants to discuss surgery to remove the tumor.
Now that we have learned that Kami must remain here in Fort Myers with her 'foot' doctor for a couple of weeks, it is no wonder why we received a call this week from our realtor telling us that the closing date on our house in High Springs has been pushed back 30 days! We were so excited about moving but the Lord knew about Kami's tumor/cyst in her foot and that we would need to remain in Fort Myers for just a bit longer! Isn't that just like our God, to prepare our path according to His will and our needs! God is so good!
Until next time...
