We have been without a vehicle for several weeks now and we have decided to just praise the Lord through all of this. We thanked Him that our car was broken down and worked on concentrating on His blessings.
However, yesterday I sat outside praying. I began thanking Him that our car was still broken and finally just admitted to the Lord that I couldn't understand why it was taking so long to get it fixed. Without a car, how are we to witness to others, give out the Gospel, and invite people to our Bible studies.
Well, today we had a first time visitor that came to our Bible Study! The amazing thing is that our visitor was not someone we had invited nor someone we had ever had any contact with. Yet God brought her in! Her name is Dominique and she has a clear testimony of salvation. She plays the piano, knew all of our hymns and quoted most of our verses during our Bible study! She answered questions and added so much to our Bible study service.
Then the Lord reminded me that just because our car is broken, doesn't mean he can't work. When we can't...He can! It was His re-affirmation that as long as we do what we are supposed to, He will do what we can't.
Until next time...
